New Phone No Photos

I got a new phone last week. Cool right? It is cool, except I took photos with it yesterday to share with you today, and I can't figure out how to transfer them from the phone to the computer.

I'm learning. I will keep taking photos and hopefully I will figure it out soon so I can share them with you.

As far as the rest of life, its good. :) I'm enjoying California's golden sunshine by running outside and reading by the pool. It has been a wonderful weekend.

Screwtape

Yesterday I went to see a play based on The Screwtape Letters by C.S. Lewis. I went with a girlfriend from work, Cheri. The play is about the devil's perspective on humans and how he is constantly working in opposition to God. It wasn't the most entertaining play, but it definitely makes you think. It was fun just to go see a show and hang out with a friend.

(Either I need to take a class on teaching people how to focus my camera, or I need to get a new camera that doesn't require the photographer to press the button down half way before pressing it all the way down. Any suggestions?)

I am doing great and loving life. Thanks for checking in on me. :)

Sweat & Silk Dress

Every time after I go for a run this is what the back of my shirt looks like. It always make me laugh a little bit when I look in the mirror and I see this face on my back.

Most of you will find the dress I am wearing in the photograph below familiar. This is my favorite dress. I put it in the DI bag when we moved to California because it had been so long since I was able to wear it; I thought I would never be able to wear it again. But E protested and said, it was my favorite dress and I had to bring it. So it came, and to my surprise, after a year of living in California it fits again for the first time in at least three years. California is good for me.

If you are curious, this dress is a size four and it is from Banana Republic. It is not a true wrap dress, it zips up on the side. :)

VACATION!

I am slightly afraid to go to work tomorrow. I took a whole week off to celebrate the fourth of July with family and friends at Bear Lake. The lake was beautiful.

After a few days of rest, I went to Logan to visit my sister and her four daughters. We went to the zoo, played in the sprinklers, went ice skating, to the movies, and more. Here are the two oldest at the park enjoying shaved ice.

After a few days in Logan, I went back to the lake and had a great time swimming, running, playing games, and just hanging out with family and friends. Here is a photo of our golf group minus one.

It was wonderful! Thanks to all for the change of pace.
